General TLB FAQs
1) What is a tournament leaderboard (TLB)?
A TLB is a tournament performance tracking system used to reward the best players over a specific period of time.
2) Who participates in the tournament leaderboard?
At UltimateBet, every player who participates in a qualifying tournament is automatically ranked on the tournament leaderboards.
3) How does the tournament leaderboard work?
UltimateBet employs a specific formula that takes into account rank and the total money in the prize pool to award points to the players who cash in our tournaments. Click here for formula and point calculator.
4) Which tournaments do not qualify for TLB points?
- Satellites to online events – All satellite tournaments that qualify players to any other online tournament do not award points. For example, a tournament that qualifies a player to the $100K Guarantee does not award points, but players who finish in the money in the $100K Guarantee will receive points.
- UltimatePoint tournaments
- Heads-up tournaments
- Sit 'n Go tournaments - Sit 'n Go tourney do not award points. However, those tournaments with more than 18 players will award TLB points in the MTT TLB.
- STEP Tournaments
- Private tournaments of any type
5) How many leaderboards are there at UltimateBet?
UltimateBet features two main divisions of leaderboard competitions – Multi-table Leaderboards (MTT) and Sit 'n Go Leaderboards (SnG). The MTT leaderboard division features a weekly, monthly and yearly leaderboard competition. The SnG leaderboard division is divided into 3 subdivisions – Diamond, Heart and Spade. Each of these subdivisions represents specific buy-in levels. The SnG leaderboard competitions run both weekly and monthly.
Multi-table Tournament Leaderboard FAQ
1) How many different MTT Leaderboard competitions are there?
The MTT leaderboard rewards players on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
2) How does the Weekly MTT Leaderboard work?
The top 10 Multi-table Tournament scores that each player records over a one-week period are added up and will count towards their Weekly MTT Leaderboard results.
3) How does the Monthly MTT Leaderboard work?
The top 20 Multi-table Tournament point scores that each player records over the Monthly period are added up and will count towards their Monthly MTT Leaderboard results.
4) How does the Yearly MTT leaderboard work?
The top 100 Multi-table Tournament point scores that each player records over the yearly period are added up and will count towards their Yearly MTT Leaderboard results.
5) When does the Weekly MTT leaderboard competition start and end?
The Weekly MTT Leaderboard starts on Sunday at 00:00:00ET and runs until Saturday 23:59:59ET. If a tournament starts on Saturday and ends on Sunday, the points are awarded for the previous week’s leaderboard.
6) When does the Monthly MTT leaderboard competition start and end?
The Monthly MTT Leaderboard runs from 00:00:00ET on the first day of the month until 23:59:59ET on the last day of the month. If a tournament starts on the last day of the month and ends the following day, the points are awarded for the previous month’s leaderboard.
7) When does the Yearly MTT leaderboard competition start and end?
The Yearly MTT Leaderboard begins at 00:00:00ET on January 1st, 2010 and ends on December 31st 2010 at 23:59:59ET. If a tournament starts on December 31st and ends on January 1st, the points are awarded for the previous year’s leaderboard.
8) What is the prize for the weekly leaderboard winner?
First place will get $1,000 in tournament dollars.
9) What are the prizes for the Monthly MTT leaderboard winners?
The top 10 players on the Monthly MTT Leaderboard will all receive a share of a $14,000 prize pool including an Aruba $6500 package for the first place, which will be paid out as follows:
- 1st - $6,500 Aruba Package ($5,500 seat entry + $1,000 for traveling expenses)
- 2nd - $3,000
- 3rd - $1000
- 4th – 10th $500
10) What are the prizes for the Yearly MTT leaderboard winners?
The top 10 players will receive the following prizes:
- 1st - $10,000 WSOP entry + $5500 Aruba entry + $4500 ($20,000 total)
- 2nd - $10,000 WSOP entry + $5500 Aruba entry ($15,500 total)
- 3rd - $5500 Aruba entry + $4500 ($10,000 total)
- 4th - $5500 Aruba entry + $1500 ($7,000 total)
- 5th - $5500 Aruba entry
- 6th - $2500
- 7th - $1000
- 8th - $1000
- 9th - $500
- 10th - $500

SnG TLB FAQ
1) How is the SnG Leaderboard divided?
The SnG leaderboard is divided into three subdivisions – Diamond, Heart and Spade. Each of them is paid on a weekly and monthly basis.
2) How do the SnG leaderboards work?
A player's SnG leaderboard score is based on their best total score in a certain number of consecutive SnGs in the Diamond, Heart or Spades class. In our Weekly SnG TLBs, a player's best total score in 20 consecutive SnGs within any one of our SnG divisions determines their Weekly SnG TLB score in that division. In our Monthly SnG TLBs, a player's best total score in 50 consecutive SnGs for our Diamond and Heart SnG divisions and a player's best total score in 35 consecutive SnGs for our Spade SnG division determines their Monthly TLB SnG score in that division.
3) Which tournaments award SnG leaderboard points?
All Sit 'n Go tournaments with 18 or fewer players will award TLB SnG points with the following exceptions:
- Only players that finish in the money, in any tournament, will receive TLB points
- All satellite tournaments that qualify players to any other online tournament do not award points.
- UltimatePoint tournaments do not award TLB points
- Heads-up tournaments do not award TLB points
- Sit 'n Go tournaments with more than 18 players award MTT TLB points and not SnG TLB points.
- Private tournaments of any type do not award TLB points.
- Any tournament that starts before Sunday at 00:00 ET but ends after Sunday 00:00 ET will count towards the previous weekly TLB’s scores
- Any tournament that starts before 00:00 ET on the first but ends after 00:00 ET on the first will count towards the previous monthly TLB’s scores
4) When do the SnG Leaderboards start and finish?
The Weekly SnG Leaderboards start on Sunday at 00:00:00ET and run until Saturday 23:59:59ET. The Monthly SnG Leaderboards run from 00:00:00ET on the first day of the month until 23:59:59ET on the last day of the month.
5) What is the SnG Diamond Leaderboard?
The SnG Diamond TLB includes results from Sit 'n Go tournaments with a buy-in of $20 or less, excluding fees.
6) What is the SnG Heart Leaderboard?
The SnG Heart TLB includes TLB results from Sit 'n Go tournaments with a buy-in above $20 but no more than $50, excluding fees.
7) What is the SnG Spade Leaderboard?
The SnG Spade TLB includes TLB results from Sit 'n Go tournaments with a buy-in above $50, excluding fees.
8) What are the prizes for the SnG Diamond Leaderboard winner?
The SnG Diamond Weekly and Monthly TLB competitions reward the top 20 players in the division with tournament dollars. In addition, the top 100 players on the monthly leaderboard win a seat in the $2K Diamond TLB Challenge.
